Confidence on Stage. Character for Life.

At The Blessed Sacrament Huguenot School, the Performing Arts are a vital part of our mission to develop confident, expressive, and well-rounded students. Through music, drama, and ensemble experiences, students learn to communicate, collaborate, and shine—on stage and beyond.
Whether it’s a first solo in elementary music class or a lead role in the spring production, every student is given the opportunity to explore their talents, find their voice, and build lifelong confidence.
Drama & Theater Arts
- Students in Middle and Upper School can participate in drama where they study stagecraft, acting techniques, improvisation, and script analysis.
- We have two performances a year: one in the Winter and one is the Spring.
- Set design, costuming, and technical production roles are also available for students who want to work behind the scenes.
Music Education
- From Early Learners through Upper School, students explore rhythm, melody, musical theory, and performance.
- Lower School students enjoy music class weekly, often participating in seasonal and holiday programs.
- Upper School students can join Ensemble, learning vocal performance, instrumentation, and concert preparation.
Ensemble & Vocal Arts
- Our Ensemble elective is designed for students who are passionate about singing and performing.
- Students perform at school functions, community events, and special concerts—bringing joy and Knight spirit to every audience.
A Stage for Every Student
Whether a student is performing under the spotlight or supporting backstage, the performing arts at BSH foster:
- Creative expression
- Public speaking skills

- Joy and emotional growth
The performing arts aren’t just about applause—they’re about transformation.
At BSH, we nurture performers with purpose, creativity with courage, and passion with professionalism.
