At Blessed Sacrament Huguenot, we feel that each student deserves the opportunity to be a member of a team. With over 15 Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, our athletics program is an extension of our school’s mission and values as it benefits the whole person. Character building traits acquired through active participation in our athletics program serve the students on the field, in the classroom, and in life. Student athletes build confidence in their abilities as they learn the importance of teamwork, commitment, a strong work ethic, and respect for others.

Our athletics program includes: Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball.

Families with children in grades Kindergarten through 12 are invited to apply for tuition assistance. Applications for the following school year typically open around December 1. You can apply at any time, but priority is given to those that are submitted with all required documentation by mid-March. Tuition assistance is awarded based on financial need and is not guaranteed for every family that applies. Applicants can apply online at factsmgt.com.

Your child deserves a complete education. Blessed Sacrament Huguenot is the only co-ed Catholic School in the Richmond area that offers preschool through twelfth grade to children of all faiths. Our staff and administration are dedicated to the whole child—creating an atmosphere of academic, spiritual, physical, and social growth. Everything we do here at BSH is designed to graduate students who are goal-oriented, socially and morally responsible, and equipped with the skills to be successful in higher education and in life. We like to say we offer college prep from day 1.

Blessed Sacrament Huguenot offers rolling admissions. Applications are evaluated as they are received and can be submitted until such time that the class is full. Families that plan to apply for financial assistance are encouraged to apply for admission in the fall or winter, as deadlines to apply for aid begin in March.

Blessed Sacrament Huguenot is Middle States Association (MSA) accredited and the Diocese of Richmond is MSA accredited as a school system. MSA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. While their expertise is grounded in more than a hundred years of work in school accreditation, MSA is far from a typical accrediting agency. Their goal isn’t to certify that schools are good enough. Rather, their commitment is to help schools continually improve.

Yes, Kindergarten and 1st graders will have an admissions assessment as part of the application process.

For 2nd through 12th grade applicants, all students will have a full shadow day on campus.   We look at current and past student records and transcripts, conduct personal interviews, and obtain feedback from the student’s former school.   If admissions assessments are necessary, we will communicate with each family.
