Exploring the World. Experiencing the Arts. Expanding Horizons.

At The Blessed Sacrament Huguenot School, the arts don’t stop at the classroom door—or even at the edge of campus. Each year, our students have the incredible opportunity to travel internationally through our Arts Abroad program, where creativity and culture come together in unforgettable ways.

From the Renaissance masterpieces of Italy to the ancient theaters of Greece and other historic sites across Europe, our students walk in the footsteps of the great artists, architects, and performers they study. These journeys are more than field trips—they are transformative experiences that deepen artistic understanding, ignite inspiration, and foster global awareness.

Where We've Been:

  • Italy – Rome, Florence, Venice, and the Vatican: exploring Michelangelo, Da Vinci, and the heart of classical art and architecture
  • Greece – Athens, Delphi, and the islands: discovering ancient drama, myth, and early design in real time
  • Other European destinations – Visiting museums, theaters, cathedrals, and cultural landmarks that bring the curriculum to life

What Students Gain:

  • A deeper appreciation for visual and performing arts across cultures
  • Firsthand exposure to global art history and architectural design
  • Lifelong memories formed through travel, collaboration, and exploration
  • New perspectives on faith, beauty, history, and the human experience

Who Can Go:

  • The Arts Abroad trip is open to Upper School students involved in our visual or performing arts programs, with opportunities to connect classroom learning to the broader world stage.

Art is meant to be seen, felt, and lived—and that’s exactly what we do.
At BSH, we believe that when students explore the world, they discover more about themselves.
